Omega Delta is a product of evolution within both the mainstream and culturally based Fraternal communities. Born in a bar and realized in a log cabin, Omega Delta has come a long way from 1997. Seventeen dedicated men, who barely knew one another, put aside their differences and started something that was their own. Never before did a multicultural or culturally based organization come together and purchase a 4 story house in the middle of Greek row in such short time. Never before had men laid down their differences for the common goal of uniting cultures. Never before had men come together to realize the need for true Brotherhood and diversity on a campus where segregation between the races was blatantly apparent. These men, these seventeen men... realized all of this... and started a change.

The world is changing and Omega Delta changes with it. While other organizations are stead fast in their old traditions and customs, we are constantly changing to adapt to a new world and society. In this environment of ours, we create leaders and visionaries to become successful and productive members of society.

Within our Fraternity, we have 12 Brothers on other executive board's campus wide (with 5 serving as President or Vice President), belong to over 40 student organizations and have Brothers from 11 separate ethnicities. Each semester we also complete over 800 hours of community service, raise over $3,000.00 for Philanthropic charities and hold 5 major social events. To say the least we are very busy, but then again... we wouldn't have it any other way.

So, again... why Rush Omega Delta? Well, if you like being involved within the campus community (politically, culturally, socially, professionally), learning new leadership skills, meeting a wide array of people, giving back to the community and most importantly... gaining a lifelong Brotherhood... then you should Rush Omega Delta! We believe that the Brotherhood of Omega Delta is something that is very dear to us and once realized, never leaves your side. We only hope to share this bond with future Brothers and to bring to their lives all the memories and history that makes up Omega Delta.
