| Alpha Chapter takes 2nd Place at Greek Week and Brother wins Greek God |
What a successful and memorable Greek Week it was for Omega Delta! Highlighting the week, the fraternity had its first Greek God crowned when Ariel Leal, Sigma Class, took home the prized honor during during IFC's sponsored Greek Week, Oct. 16th - 20th, 2006.
In addition to Leal's crowning, Omega Delta also celebrated earning an impressive 2nd place finish out of IFC's 47 fraternities involved in Greek Week. Omega Delta brought high attendance totals to all Greek Week events, while also collecting 211 pounds of food for hungry children. Leal also had the best time in the Field Day obstacle course, completing it in under 14 seconds.
As part of his contest-winning performace, Leal was first required to model in a self-made toga, featuring the OD Greek letters and symbols which he felt best represent the fraternity. Thanks to assistance from several other members, the toga creation was a success. Clad in fraternity colors of beige and navy blue, Leal had arguably the best toga in the competition, earning much female admiration and dominating all competition.
In the second round of the contest, all competitors were asked to karaoke to a random song determined by their roll of a musical dice. Leal drew "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey. Along with his two sorority co-singers, he again impressed judges with his strong singing effort, which featured a romantic serenade for his two lovely partners. The final round was a question and answer part, where he solidified his victory. Moments later the judges announced him as the Greek God winner. It was a great victory and celebration not only for Leal, but for Omega Delta as a whole.
As a reward for their high finish, Omega Delta was presented with a Greek Week 2nd place trophy. The most important result from the week was Omega Delta getting its name out there and further establishing its status in IFC. Made possible by outstanding member participation, the week's success serves as a great forward leap to the continued improvement and development of Omega Delta. GoOD job gentlemen!

| Summer House Construction/Beatification |
This year, there are several projects going on with the house. Alpha Chapter has contracted workers to install a brand new sprinkler service throughout the entire house. While we have never had issues with fires, we feel it best to be prepared. Along with the sprinklers, all public carpet areas will receive a deep cleaning.
