OD Sweetie

A True Sweetheart
OD Sweeties are women on the UIUC campus who have supported us throughout the years and who we feel are part of our organization. The Brothers of Omega Delta would like to thank all our sweethearts for getting to know us as individuals and not just as an organization.

Spring 2009 - Judy Salazar

judyYear:  Freshman (class of '12)

Major:  Psychology

Favorite OD:  This is a tough one... I can't just pick one so here it goes.  My partners in crime are Steven Walsh and Caleb Frankel...and the two sweetest guys I know, Jaime Baltazar and Jose Paz.

Favorite OD memory:  You can never have just one favorite memory when you're partying with OD and GoOD Time Productions :D... but if I have to pick one memory out of the many, I would say.....SUNDAE FIGHT ON SUNDAY NIGHT because there is nothing better than rolling around in sundae toppings with some of my favorite people.

What you look forward to with OD:  Anything these guys throw (event wise) is something to look forward to... but I definitely cannot wait to work with them again for next year's SUNDAE FIGHT... it's going to be magical.  I also cannot wait to come back to school after summer is over, just to hang out with all of them and party.  :D

Comments/regards:  I would like to thank all of the gentleman of Omega Delta for making me your OD Sweetie... it really is a great honor and I cannot wait to have many more great memories with you guys.  Thank you for helping me end my freshman year the best way possible... partying OD style...LOVE YOU ALL!!!  *muah*

Love,
Judy

Fall 2007 - Angie Marie

angieYear:  Senior (class of '08)

Major:  Elementary Education

Favorite OD:  Peter Larios (my grandson), BUT all of the guys are my favs in their own way =)

Favorite OD Memory:  I know it says just one memory but that just isn’t possible for me…
My memories:
The absolute sweetest moment was Valentine’s Day, when I opened my apartment door to see the most beautiful red roses, along with the cutest stuffed animal, and a ‘Thank You’ balloon. It was truly the best “goodbye” gift a girl could ask for.
I will always remember and be grateful for: the walks home, movie nights, heart to heart talks, the laughs, the multiple breakfasts/lunches/dinners, for making me always feel at home, for all of the love you have showed me throughout the years, and now for making me apart of your organization.

Comments/Regards:  I just want to thank all of the Gentlemen of Omega Delta, both young and old, for all of the goOD times that we have shared together, for showing your respect to me, and for officially making me an OD SWEETIE. No one is more proud to have this title than I am. Thanks again for everything, the memories we shared are forever embedded in my heart.
Oh and I even want to thank you for my unforgettable nicknames, one in particular...

Love Always~

5th - Fall 2006 - Lindsey Sieczko
Year: Junior

Major: Psychology

Favorite OD: Jesse Buendia

Favorite OD Memory: My favorite OD memory would have to be when a bunch of the guys and I were hanging out in Frank's room one night. We were annoying the heck out of him (watching TV, listening to music, having pillow fights —you know, the usual) and all he wanted to do was write his paper. Every time someone would walk by, we'd invite them to join the "party," which got Frank even more annoyed and by the end of the night, I think he was ready to kill us all. Needless to say, he didn't get much done on that paper.

However, we all had a ton of fun, and this was the night that the guys decided to give me my lovely nickname, Luke, which I guess is better than the last one Manny gave me, but we still need to work on it guys!

Every time I'm over at the house, I have an awesome time, whether it's just hanging out in someone's room or living it up at one of your unforgettable parties. You all definitely make me feel at home there. I'm so happy I met so many amazing guys and I am honored to officially be an OD Sweetie!

Love,
Lindsey

4th - Fall 2005 - Stephanie Daly
Year: Freshman

Major: International Studies

Favorite OD: Ariel Leal

Favorite OD Memory: I know I'm just a freshman but you guys are showing me what a real party is! The OD house is where it's at. One really good memory was the bumpin' Halloween party where I danced all night until the break of dawn. But my favorite thing to do is be 1st pick for flippy cup teams and completely school a few certain untalented members in the house... haha. Guys, look forward to seeing me for the next 4 years cuz I'll be at all your parties for sure!

Ciao, Stephanie

3rd - Spring 2005 - Andrea Richard
Year: Senior

Major: Accounting

Favorite OD: Juan Kennedy

Favorite OD Memory: To the brothers of Omega Delta — I don't know where to begin... I will always treasure all the fun times I've had at the house and with you guys over the years. You are an amazing group of men, and I am so proud to be an official Sweetie. Know that you guys and the memories I have at the house mean the world to me, and you will always be very near and dear to my heart."

Love, Andrea

2nd - Fall 2004 - Susy Gonzalez
Year: Senior

Major: Advertising

Favorite OD: Seth Eheart

Favorite OD Memory: HMMMMMM my favorite OD memory?! There are soooo many — since I was introduced to the OD's my freshmen year, I have loved them all. Ladies are always VIP, great refreshments, handsome men and the OD Aftersets are KILLER.

There was this one time that I went to one of their parties with my BEST friend Rabia and after dancing for hours on the platforms we saw this dark and handsome guy and we fought for him. We ran and started dancing with him and then all 3 of us FELL while dancing and busted our ****! Ahahaha. goOD times!!

Then there was this one time, back when I was young and careless when Seth had to take care of me and Rabia because we were too drunk to function and we were all in his room. HIS GIRLS! Oh Seth how lucky are u? :)

Love Always, Lil' Susy

1st - Spring 2004 - Angelica Herrera
Year: Senior

Major: Journalism

Favorite OD: Ruben "Boom Boom" Galvez

Favorite OD Memory: There's nothing like being a freshman. But being a freshman and partying it up at the OD house was the best time of my college life. As my senior year comes to a close, it's hard to choose my favorite OD memory. Let's face it; I can't narrow it down when there were so many great times. Whether there were bar crawls, Joe's parties, third-floor parties (ah, the Boom Room), basement parties, or watching boxing matches, if OD's were throwing the event, I knew I'd be partying up until the sun came up—or they started playing "Banda" music.

I made some of the best guy friends at the house—one that became more than a best friend. But if I had to narrow it down to one event, my favorite was the 2003 OD Formal. It was a magical night, the prom I never had: The guys transformed into handsome creatures, and it gave me an excuse to get dolled-up, drink at the open bar, and get the dance floor bumping on the boat. Land or water, it was always a goOD time.

Thanks for the unforgettable memories, guys! I'm going to miss "The House" (and out-chugging you!).

Love, Angelica (Geli)
